The iSelf Screen kit contains the following components for collecting accurate specimens:
- Swab Sample Container
- Tube Speculum
- Brush Sampling Unit
- Sample Container
- Disposable Hypoallergenic Gloves
- Swab Specimen Collection
- Patient Info Card
- Customer ID Labels
- Specimen Bag with Absorbent Pad
- Shipping Envelope with Pre-addressed Pre-Paid Label
It’s as easy as 1-2-3
1. Test One: Vaginal Swab Specimen Collection.
Once the specimen has been collected, the end portion of the swab is put into the swab specimen container to be sent to the lab.
2. Test Two: Vaginal Cell Specimen Collection.
Once the specimen has been collected with the sampling brush, (which is the same brush gynecologists use throughout the U.S. and worldwide), the brush end is popped off into our liquid fixative to be sent to the lab.
Place the two specimen containers into the plastic specimen bag using the pre-paid, self-addressed envelope (included in your kit) and mail through the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).
It’s that simple. Most women can complete these easy steps in less than 10 minutes and because of the kit’s unique design, can successfully self-collect samples for subsequent screening.
